SAC LLC is the largest manufacturer of Oil-field Minerals in Oman. Started in 2011, SAC is a 100% Omani SME company owned by Oman Oilfield Supply Centre LLC (OOSC) and Al Mashriq Trading & Investment (AMTI).

SAC has two mineral manufacturing plants at Sohar and Duqm. Sohar plant, established in 2011, manufactures 200,000 tons per year of various mineral products. Duqm plant, established in 2021, has an installed capacity of 100,000 tons per year. Furthermore, the company has a 1.5 million litre liquid blending facility at Sohar.

SAC manufactures Barite, Bentonite, Bauxite, Dolomite, and Calcium Carbonate products for the Oil & Gas industry, Iron Ore Pelletizing, Civil construction, Piling, Earthing, Fertilizer, and Chemical industries.

The company imports and stocks complimentary chemicals for various user industries including but not limited to Potassium chloride, Calcium Chloride, Mica, Sulphonated Asphalt, Soda Ash, Biocide, Defoamer, Caustic Soda prills, and Lubricants.

Both plants are located within 20 kms of Sohar and Duqm ports, which provide excellent shipping connectivity across the globe.

Barite and Bentonite manufactured by SAC are API 13A Certified since 2013 and the facilities are Environment, Quality, and HSE compliant through ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 9001: 2015 & ISO 45001: 2018 respectively.
